Allow bookings in the past

If a person comes to the office and forgets to book a desk, turning this option on will allow them to still book the desk even though it's in the past. 

There is a secondary option to restrict by date or by time. Restricting by date will mean a person can still book a desk and start the booking earlier in the current day (as happens on an all day booking)

Restricting by time means you can only book from the current time and behond.
